I’m Ash, a Brisbane-based artist, designer and developer.
I work across branding, websites, UI/UX, illustration, animation and original artwork. That mix means I can take an idea from its earliest stage through to something complete, cohesive and ready to use.
My work combines the individuality of an artist with the structure and technical care of a developer. I’m reliable, detail-focused and easy to work with, and I care about making things properly.
Most days are a mix: a logo sketch in the morning, a Shopify theme in the afternoon, a canvas on the easel in between. That overlap is deliberate. The painting feeds the colour work, the code keeps the design honest, and the client gets one person who understands the whole thing.
I work with small businesses, founders, studios and other creatives, mostly in Brisbane and around Australia, and happily remote.

A few things I hold to.
- 01
Make it properly
Finished means finished: files named, spacing right, site fast, nothing left as “we’ll fix that later”.
- 02
Say what I mean
Plain language about scope, cost and timing. If something is a bad idea, I’ll say so and suggest a better one.
- 03
Draw first
Most projects start on paper or canvas. The hand-made part is what stops the work looking like everyone else’s.
- 04
Build what I design
Designing with the build in mind means fewer compromises later, and no “that’s not how it looked in the mockup”.
