HEX.

Artist, designer and developer based in Brisbane.

Brands, websites and artwork — made by one person, start to finish. No handovers, no committee.

One person.
The whole creative process.

Branding, illustration, UI/UX and the build itself. You don’t have to line up three freelancers and hope they talk to each other.

Why one person

What you get when the designer is also the developer, and the artist.

01

One person, idea to launch

Strategy, branding, design and development in a single pair of hands. Nothing gets lost in a handover because there isn’t one.

02

Creative and technical in one head

I paint, illustrate and design, and I write the code. The visual ideas are made with the build in mind, so they survive contact with a real browser.

03

Nothing off a template

Every project starts from your business, not a theme. Type, colour, photos and layout are picked for you specifically.

04

Brand and website that match

When one person does the logo and the site, they match. No colours drifting, no logo squashed into someone else’s header.

05

Straight answers, clear timelines

You deal with me directly. I’ll tell you what’s possible, what it costs and when it’ll be ready, in plain language.

06

Finished, down to the boring bits

Spacing, hover states, load times, the 404 page. Nobody notices them until they’re wrong, so I don’t skip them.

Branding

A brand that looks like your business, not a template.

Logo, type, colour and all the bits you use every day. I draw marks by hand where it helps, and make sure the whole thing still works printed on a cup.

Bone Voyage

My own pet-sitting business. Name, brand, painted dogs, words and build — 17 pages, no framework, no CMS.

How it works

Four steps. No jargon.

Every project runs the same way, whether it’s a logo or a whole business. You always know what’s next.

  1. 01

    Tell me what you’re making

A short call or email about the business, the audience and what you want to exist at the end.

    • No brief needed yet
    • Rough ideas are welcome
    • You get a clear quote and timeline
  2. 02

    We shape the direction

I pull together references, colour and type so we agree on the feel before anything gets built.

    • Moodboards and early sketches
    • One or two clear directions
    • Feedback rounds built in
  3. 03

    I design and build it

Identity, artwork, interface and code, made side by side. You see it come together, not one big reveal at the end.

    • Working previews you can click through
    • Real content, not lorem ipsum
    • Responsive from the start
  4. 04

    Refine, finish and launch

Polish, testing on real phones, handover files, launch. Then I stick around while you settle in.

    • Brand files and guidelines
    • Performance and accessibility checks
    • Launch support and training

About

I’m an artist, designer and developer in Brisbane.

Branding, websites, UI/UX, illustration, animation and paintings. Doing all of it means I can take an idea from a scribble to something you can actually launch, without passing it between three people.

The painter in me picks the colours. The developer in me makes sure they still work on a cheap phone in bad light. I reply to emails, I hit dates, and I tell you early if something’s off.
